Who is Jesus to you, an Angel, or God made flesh?
February 282010
Then who is Jesus to you. An angel? In Hebrews it says:
"Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."
(Heb 1:4)
And who created the Heavens and the Earth?
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
(Gen 1:1)
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who CREATED all things BY Jesus Christ:
(Ephesians 3:9)
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by HIM were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by HIM all things consist.
(Colossians1:13-17)
Jesus existed from the beginning, not from the time he was born as a man. Jesus was glorified by the Father after he was resurrected. Jesus submitted to the Father in the perfect example of what a follower of Christ should do.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(John 1:1)
The Word is Jesus. Through the word all things were created.
The word was with God from the beginning. The word was God.
It can’t be any clearer to me that Jesus is not an angel, or a man, or some guru. It is clear to me that Jesus became flesh so that in the flesh he could show himself to be perfect, dying on the cross for our sins, so that the Son of God would be glorified.
So don’t let corrupt doctrines say that Jesus is just an angel. Jesus is the Son of God having a Father by conception of the Holy Spirit.
Just because some corrupt church called God "Trinity" does not mean that you are a pagan for believing that Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus is God and the Bible contains the truth.
It would be difficult to explain everything in a short answer.
I would suggest you visit the below website. You will get all the answers, for the below questions and many more.
1) Did Jesus really exist?
2) Is Jesus God?
3)Why should I believe that the Bible is accurate, or the word of God?
4) What is the Holy Trinity?
5)What is so special about Jesus? Why cant I just view him as an ordinary man or a teacher or a prophet? Why should I see him as God?

A figure that may have potentially existed, but given the account of his life and the lack of confirming evidence, it is highly unlikely that he did.

Three Persons
The Persons of the Trinity are not exactly like human persons. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are not three separate "consciousnesses" in God, each with His own intellect and will. Rather they are three distinct subjects of consciousness who share one Intellect and one Will. The distinction between the Three Persons is in their relation toward one another: the Father is the "Begettor", the Son is the "Begotten One", and the Holy Spirit is the "Spiration". This is how the Three are differentiated from one another.
Though each Person is distinct from the other two, they do not act separately. What the Father does, the Son and Holy Spirit do as well. The Godhead acts as one. We sometimes appropriate an activity to one Person or another, such as when we call the Father "Creator", the Son "Redeemer" and the Spirit "Sanctifier". Yet these designations are not absolute; the entire Trinity actually participates in creation, so all Three Persons are "Creator". The entire Trinity makes us holy, so all Three are "Sanctifier" as well, etc..
So God is Three Persons; So What?
Some people seem to believe that the doctrine of the Trinity is irrelevant to our spirituality and Christian walk. Nothing could be more untrue! Christians are called to have a relationship with God; surely it is important for us to know the One Whom we worship and love.
The truth that God is "Three-in-One" also shows us that there is a "Community of Love" within the Godhead. God is not a solitary Monarch, reigning all alone in Eternity. Rather, God is a "Family", so to speak; a Father and a Son bound together by an Eternal Love which is a Third Person, the Holy Spirit. This is a very beautiful thought.
Finally, the doctrine of the Trinity allows us to understand how God gives us a share in His own Divine Life. The Father sends the Son, Who becomes flesh, taking on Himself our human nature. The Son then unites us to His Sacred Humanity, making us one Body with Him. By this union we also partake of His divine nature (see II Peter 1:4), and so become sons and daughters of God in the Eternal Son. Jesus then loves the Father in us, and the Father loves Jesus in us, and so their mutual Love, the Holy Spirit, becomes present in our souls. The Spirit causes us to proclaim that Jesus is Lord (I Corinthians 12:3) and cries within us "Abba Father" (Galatians 4:6).
Yes, it is the Holy Trinity who divinizes us, making us created partakers in God’s own life and adopted members of the Heavenly Family. By the act of Creation and Redemption, the Godhead has "extended" (so to speak), the Eternal Family into the created realm; not by making us God by nature, but by the Son becoming human and giving us a share in the divine nature.

Neither.
I believe that he was an angel at first. Since scripture says that he was there in the beginning along side GOD. The heavens only mention God, or the creator and the angels and two of them sat at his side.
Since Jesus knew of his fate as human, I imagine that he and God had already planned what would take place while he was an angel. Jesus was called the Son of God because he came about by IMMACULATE conception. He is not God made flesh, but he is part of God made flesh. Whether he is an angel now or not, doesn’t matter because he is still at the right hand of God and scripture says that he will rule the new earth by the AUTHORITY of the Father. Now, whether or not the angel part of this is true, that could be an assumption on my part, yet coincides with what I’ve learned in scripture.

Jesus is the Son of God.
Jesus taught his disciples to pray: “Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.” Our heavenly Father, whose name is Jehovah, is described in the Bible as being superior to his Son. For example, Jehovah is “from everlasting to everlasting.” But the Bible says that Jesus is “the firstborn of every creature.” That Jehovah is greater than Jesus, Jesus himself taught when he said: “My Father is greater than I.” (Matthew 6:9; Psalm 90:1, 2; Colossians 1:15; John 14:28, King James Version) Yet, the Trinity doctrine holds that the Father and the Son are “equally God.”
The Father’s superiority over the Son, as well as the fact that the Father is a separate person, is highlighted also in the prayers of Jesus, such as the one before his execution: “Father, if you wish, remove this cup [that is, an ignominious death] from me. Nevertheless, let, not my will, but yours take place.” (Luke 22:42) If God and Jesus are “one in essence,” as the Trinity doctrine says, how could Jesus’ will, or wish, seem different from that of his Father?
Look up the scriptures before dismissing them.

Jesus does not lie so when he identified himself as "the son of God" he told the truth. Jesus prayed to God, sits at the right hand of God, is the anointed of God who was sent by God and is the mediator between God and us. He is the son of God NOT God the son.

LOST YEARS OF JESUS
March 1st, 2010 at 8:11 am
Who did Jesus say he was? To his enemies, he said: "I am the Son of God." (John 10:36)
At thirty years of age Jesus presented himself to be baptized. On that occasion God’s own voice said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.” And so John the Baptist, who witnessed the event, said of Jesus: “This one is the Son of God.” Matt. 3:17; John 1:34.
Jesus’ apostles and friends repeatedly identified him in this way. Said Nathanael: “Rabbi, you are the Son of God.” (John 1:49) Peter exclaimed: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” (Matt. 16:16) Martha confessed: “You are the Christ, the Son of God.” (John 11:27) The apostle John wrote so people might believe that “Jesus is the Christ the Son of God.” (John 20:31) And of the apostle Paul’s ministry it is said: “He began to preach Jesus, that this One is the Son of God.” Acts 9:20.
Did Peter, Paul, John or any other of Jesus’ followers preach that he was God? No, from these scriptures it is clear that they taught he was God’s Son.
Suppose you can explain how Jesus could be the Son of God and then become God in the flesh. It doesn’t make sense. Would God in the flesh say: "The Father is greater than I am"?

If Jesus is an angel, we really, really wrong, because Jesus is the Word of God who "Nuzul" incarnated into a human. The Word of God, whereby all things might not be an angel because angels are created. Creature can not create other creatures.
But if we answer God made flesh, from my experience living in the Muslim environment, it sounds very pagan. My view, Jesus is the Word of God in the flesh, be comparable to the Qur’an, the word of God which descended later realized in the form of books (something real rather than supernatural, visible not invisible).
