all others who mock will recieve the red card. j/k
how many christians have decided to stop going to church all together, these days lately, last days if you want to call it that, the church has been an embarrassment to itself, and a lot of christians have opted to just read their bible and fellowship with Christ, but have found church to be hurting to their walk.
Have you stopped attending church, or do you feel its very important to your walk
all others, red cards ahoy!
C.L richardson in regards to your comment, look at the churches that are filled with name it and claim it doctrine, snake handlers, those churches where they call it holy laughter its like a mad house. i go to calvary chapel i was just wondering
The church is apostate. Every church that I have visited is teaching false doctrines that hinder a believers walk with God. From Catholicism to Charismatics to Word of Faithers to Pentecostals to Baptist Briders. You name it. All of the churches are apostate and the Bible speaks of this time and calls it the great falling away. We are in the end times.

Yes I still go to church. I worship Jesus, not the church authorities.

Many churches may be an embarrassment to the body of Christ, but mine is not. Where did you get this idea?

It is not good to stop going to church..even though many churches are going bad, we should look for the good ones, or start home churches in smaller groups.

I miss Holy Mass most Sundays due to work. But every chance I get I go. I don’t know why anyone would want to miss it unless they’re not a Christian.

I go to church, but I go to one of the few that hasn’t been corrupted.
Lately churches have been trying to please liberals and atheists, trying not to talk about anything that might "offend" people and try to be politically correct, until the point it’s not even a church, it’s a place where people say "come here and we’ll tell you what you wanna hear and not tell you what you don’t want to hear"
Luckily mine is like "We don’t give a crap if we offend people, we’ll speak the truth and we won’t change just because society wants us to."

You know wat, there have been lot’s of problems in church. How else can the devil turn people from christ? If you feel uncomfortable in your church, find another bible based church in which you can learn and listen without feeling uncomfortable. But yes keep reading your bibles daily, and you walk with god is very important. If you don’t go to church, then you watch sermons on TV like TBN. One of my favorites is John Hagee Ministries. I go to church to learn, and i feel that its respect to god, me going to church which is his house. I go there to worship and listen to the word of god. I hope that helps.

God calls us to fellowship with one another. Support the church and you will reap your blessings. God will handle the mess in the church.

I stopped going to several churches because they were so out of line with Jesus’ teachings. One started a "read the Bible in a year" program ..and QUIT when people started to question church doctrine that was obviously different than what the BIBLE had said. It’s hard to find a church but it is possible if you keep looking.

I go to church. I always feel so refreshed after worshipping God, hearing about what I need to work on, praying, singing, and fellowshipping with other believers. It’s very important to spiritual growth.

Look at the financial statements from the religion that runs that church and you will see that religion is a big business. The church will need some really good spin doctors to try to remove the black marks on it, but then throughout history religion has always been able to re-spin something to once again fool the mindless masses.
If you truly believed in God, etc, then there would be no obvious need to go to church and give your money to the church. If it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than a rich person get into heaven, then why does the church maintain more wealth than any other organization (government or otherwise) on the planet? Not heeding their own teachings are they, those greedy church leaders.

I share your frustrations.
My husband and i have just begun to go to church again. Not because we believe the church we’ve chosen is uncorrupted (although it’s the best one we could find) but because we value the fellowship. I think it’s important to be part of a community of believers. Scripture thells us not to forsake the fellowship.
We periodically consider starting a home church, but the Lord hasn’t led us in that direction yet. Maybe one day.

I’m Muslim so perhaps, you might not want to hear my answer. On the other hand, the 3 Abrahaimic religions have 1 thing in common; to serve God and to cast away satan. If places such as churches, synagogues or mosques are corrupted, it doesn’t mean we stop going there. It means we replace these corrupt authorities and replace them with better ones. Just like someone commented above, you go to these places to worship God, not what goes on inside these walls. If you turn away from them, you’ve given in to Satan’s agenda. Do you really think God wants you to do that?
