Church is a place to go to hear God’s Word
and worship Him with praise through song and
prayer. Paying honors to a Diety. He tells us in His Word to not forsake coming together with
other Christians to worship together and uplift
each other. Churches use the giving of the
congregation to operate their church utility
obligations, to send money and items all over
the world to help the poor, to volunteer in soup
kitchens, to bring others to the knowledge and
saving grace of Christ, to lead the flock of
members, and there’s no end to reasons to
attend church. Try an Independent Christian
Church to see if you fit in before giving up with
other churches. They teach from the Bible, not
politics, city issues, and other worldly nonsense.

Sure I will join sunday. People are right though in saying People that call themselves Christians are doing this and that,. Yes I am upset my child cant go into a corner to pray, I am upset that he cant say the pledge of allegiance in class because it has the " God " word in it,.. People are so wrong for worrying over a little things like that even they worried that on a coin it says "In God we trust’ That kind of thing is pitifully. People are misjudging us, because of someone that " Claims " they are some body they are not

Church denotes the whole body of the redeemed, all those whom the Father has given to Christ,

Church is unity. God has ever had only one church on earth. We sometimes speak of the Old Testament Church and of the New Testament church, but they are one and the same. The Old Testament church was not to be changed but enlarged (Isa 49:13-23; 60:1-14). When the Jews are at length restored, they will not enter a new church, but will be grafted again into "their own olive tree" (Rom 11:18-24; Eph 2:11-22). The apostles did not set up a new organization. Under their ministry disciples were "added" to the "church" already existing (Act 2:47).

Its perpetuity. It will continue through all ages to the end of the world. It can never be destroyed. It is an "everlasting kindgdom."

it’s pretty much spot on. it breaks my heart when someone tells me they didn’t like church because they felt ostracized. that’s the exact opposite of what church should be. anyone and everyone should feel an atmosphere of welcoming and love when they walk into a church service. regardless of who you are, what you believe, and how much you make.

church is more than a social club. it’s where you can go to be encouraged to keep doing good things, to keep studying the word of God. it’s a support group when you’re going through hard times. it’s an extended family when you or your family are sick. it’s a school where you can learn more about God, His character, and what He expects from you. it’s a sanctuary when you can’t find peace anywhere else. it’s a body of believers that can come together anytime and anywhere. this is why i found myself at home when i went to church in paris, scotland, alaska and right here in florida (my homestate). i have a global church family.

and there are a variety of worship styles. sometimes it takes awhile to find the kind you like, but when you do, it’s awesome.

Im a Christian who attends service as much as I am able. And from what ive seen, Heard and read. That is the most accurate description I have ever heard. God Bless you.

Well thats the general idea I get of a moderate or liberal church. God rejects many- unfortunately, many liberal churches seem to accept those God rejects. -Not a good place to be.

To worship together. But for ME, this is why I go:

-During the week, I start to forget about what God blessed me with, and just start to slack off and commit sin… but whenever I go back to church, I bring to mind my sins, and ask for forgiveness.

Everyone really has their own reasons.

It’s true, but the devil fights us all the way and so this scenario described above is the ideal situation but we rarely feel this way. However, being in church is right and we should be worshiping God, tithing and hearing the word of God. It’s not a social club. However, we try to have fulfilling fellowship groups. They tend to be especially nice to you if you are willing to go the extra mile to help out or if you are new.

For someone like me who can’t hear well, it can be a hard place to be at least half the time, but the praise music lifts me out of depression. I get depressed if I don’t go and many people are so loving. That’s all for now.

Generally speaking, it's about checking into your own congregation in order to a get a "present" mark and therefore not need to be visited by the visitation team who checks up on all the members to make sure they attend as the leaders think they should. If not, they get visited by the visitation team, which is some people eyes, is a black mark on their attendance and realness of purpose. In reality, they would have been better off staying at home and focusing on their own lives and inner beings with God, one on one. That what worship is. Concentrating on God equals worship. All the noises and distractions that usually accompany a formal worship service distract and make it almost impossible to focus on God, which is worship. So, to worship God, stay at home or somewhere other than the building where the bunch meets and be better off and ahead of the group as deals with having worshiped God. Be at peace and don't sweat the small stuff.

I wont go. I find it insulting that theres such disdain towards gay people, I have homosexual friends. And the disdain towards females also offends me, I have female family members and Id rather they didnt be put down like that, so no, thank you..
