March 52010

The requirement for Christian fellowship is a fallacy propagated by church organizations. You need to fellowship with true saints of which there are not many.

    Your right on with …
    Your right on with this video finalcall07 – I’ve experienced what you describe in this video – it really is a very lonely road ministering here and there. How many believers in Christ do his commandments(as he commands us as our Commander in Chief) rather than insist on playing ‘go to church’ where they can be seen praying in public?

    Dear friend, only champions will win this race and get the prize. Few will make it. It is not how we started that matters but how we finish. Few will.
    May Jesus bless you

    LOL
    But if we walk …

    LOL
    But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
    - 1 John 1:7

    The whole point of the CHURCH is that we’re ALL mediocre atheletes who constantly fall off the narrow path, break legs and twist ankles. But, by having others around us on the path, we are corrected, supported, and maintained. While true we must be very careful with whom we fellowship, we cannot throw out baby with bathwater

    @jimv3113: “Jesus …
    @jimv3113: “Jesus said, TAKE HEED many shall come in my name, and shall deceive many.”

    Yes, and the ones that are deceiving, are the ones that preach a gospel other than the scriptures gospel. Read Galatians 1:8. God WON’T tell ANYONE ANYTHING that is contradictory to the Holy Scriptures. If someone, or some “voice,” is telling someone something that goes against what we can READ in the scriptures, then that someone, or that “voice,” is NOT of God. Again, Galatians 1:8.

    Baptism in water …
    Baptism in water does not save you. Putting your life into the hands of God and accepting His free gift of salvation is what will earn you eternal life in Heaven.

    There is good …
    There is good chance that one who is lost and alone, knows it. He will notice when Jesus comes calling. Now magine that the lost ones have gathered together. Now when one of them hears the calls of Jesus, the rest of the group will do their best to persuade him that it wasnt Jesus he heard at all. They will squelch the conscience of those lost and troubled souls with scripture verses. Jesus said, TAKE HEED many shall come in my name, and shall deceive many”.

    Well you guys have missed the point he was making….The narrow way that leads to life and only a few find it…doesnt sound like alot of people there, It’s like this, How can 2 walk together except they be agreed???? so only a few find it, theres not many to walk with.. THX jan for the good message….

    @superchef – That …
    @superchef – That doesn’t make any sense. You serve the Lord by obeying Him, right? Part of that is to go out into all the world to make disciples and reflect Christ to them. You make it sound like if we share the gospel with others that *all* of them will reject it which isn’t true. Are we the only people that God was able to reach? Really?

    why was my comment …
    why was my comment deleted? as i said we are put here to bring others to the Lord and that means fellowships and relationships, how are you going to use Gods greatest gift of prophecy if you dont get out and talk with people? also we are all called to different things, you might be lead to this but others are lead to many things, music church preaching its not up to you to decide unless you are God.

  14. CelticWarrior1971 Says:

    @Hirisk2298: It’s …
    @Hirisk2298: It’s good for TRUE Christians to fellowship, make NO MISTAKE about it, for the bible SAYS SO. So, it doesn’t matter what ANY MAN says, it is what THE WORD OF GOD SAYS THAT IS IMPORTANT. Follow that, follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, but follow NO MAN. If you do these things faithfully and truthfully and sincerely, you’ll be fine, and you will be saved, for it is GOD’S PROMISE, period.

  15. CelticWarrior1971 Says:

    @Hirisk2298: God …
    @Hirisk2298: God seemingly forsake him, but in my opinion, he didn’t forsake him, he just turned from the sins of the world that Jesus currently had upon him at that time, as the SACRIFICE for those sins. God had to turn away from those sins, and it felt like to Jesus, that God had forsaken him. That’s my opinion anyway.

  16. CelticWarrior1971 Says:

    @Hirisk2298: Well …
    @Hirisk2298: Well Jesus was alone a few times in the bible, like when he went up on the mountain to fast and pray for forty days I believe it was. He was alone then, unless you want to count the Devil being there tempting him as company. Then his disciples did abandon him, but not because they didn’t love him, but because they were human and afraid when the soldiers came.

  17. CelticWarrior1971 Says:

    God gave us the …
    God gave us the Holy Bible for a reason, as it is the road map to him through his holy son Jesus Christ, and if a “voice” is telling you anything that goes against the bible, guess what? IT IS NOT THE HEAVENLY FATHER, JESUS CHRIST, OR THE HOLY SPIRIT TELLING YOU THOSE THINGS. Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

  18. CelticWarrior1971 Says:

    Well, if you are a …
    Well, if you are a TRUE Christian, and you happen to find other TRUE Christians, it is DEFINITELY good to fellowship with them, for the bible says it is, therefore JESUS says it is, and to preach anything else regarding this subject, is not preaching what Jesus said, now is it? Common sense people, use it along with your reading comprehension skills.

    Yes, Lord, let him get this right. He hasn’t just yet.

  20. dooVoob Says:

    The victory is …
    The victory is spending time with God, you will not be really alone. Would you rather spend your life as a sheep following other people? Is that the kind of victory you want? Man is wicked, follow him and learn. I would rather trust God.

    Jesus was never alone?? What do you mean? He was alone and He was forsaken by His disciples when He needed them the most.. He was even forsaken by the Father on the cross!!!

    “Of course all because he truly loves you”
    God’s ways are not man’s ways..

  21. ronpaullimelight Says:

    Serious and true …
    Serious and true message….. I agree with what you’re saying…. May GOD bless you my friend.

  22. SpirituallyTuned Says:

    Even though …
    Even though fellowship is good for one another, fellowship is not essential for salvation. Many people teach this lie. If we have fellowship with the Father then we do have fellowship with one another in Spirit.

  23. superchef78 Says:

    The Truth is that …
    The Truth is that when you Truly get to know Christ and follow Him and talk to Him amongst other people, all of those people that used to be your friends, will become your enemies because you told them the Truth.

    We are here for one purpose and that is to serve Christ.

    This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

  24. Hirisk2298 Says:

    let me get this …
    let me get this right, follow Jesus, live and die alone….were is the victory in that experience?

    Jesus was never alone, but he expects His followers to live a life of poverty and emptiness to satisfy God?

    Of course all because he truly loves you..hmmm..just saying

  25. StringPlunker Says:

    If you truly follow …
    If you truly follow Him you wouldn’t last long in the institutional church. Jesus said that if you truly follow him they will throw you out of the synagogue and think they are doing God a favor.

    John says it plainly. If we say we know him and do not keep his commands and lay down our lives as he did and commanded us to do and walk as he himself walked we are simply liars.
