December 182009

A brief look at day 12 of the breakout happening at MorningStar Fellowship Church in Fort Mill, SC. Bad Religion…. …
Bad Religion…. you should not do that to young people.

    I like what that …
I like what that Steve Thompson guy said.

No doubt that it is …
No doubt that it is real, but who is the power behind it? Is it Yahweh or the god of this world? The common denominator here is that participants seem to be centered on chasing an experience. This is profoundly like the new-age movement, a clear-cut anti-christ wave of human gluttony in pursuit of a feeling. Matthew 24 clearly addresses this movement of God.

    Well said! What …
Well said! What happens to these folks outside of their experiences? It seems that they just keeping seeking a new experience, another extra-biblical high, I.E. the comment below by WNeeFan. From my own experience in a charismatic church I can concur that there is no fruit in this movement. A mile wide and an inch deep indeed!

    This is real, I …
This is real, I have been in and out of moves of God like this since the early 90’s. Until you have experienced this, you cannot understand or receive. You do not have to go to a meeting like this to have a supernatural touch from the Lord.
    Just ask and believe

    Spirtually speaking …
Spirtually speaking, most of these people are a mile wide and an each deep, and have a treamondous rate of backsliding. I have wintessed the results of this shallow, superficial version of Christianity for 30 years now (was in a Vineyard church), and the stories I could tell would curl your hair. These are rocky-soil “Christians”. The term “got saved” in this environment often means you’ve duplicated your deception to another. Here is a prophetic word for you: Be careful what you duplicate!

    Thats right get’em …
Thats right get’em filled early. Thats how I got filled. Life so much better when you get saved young.

    I know this may …
I know this may look weird to some people. Yet I must tell you that I have experienced revivals like this one in Toronto and it is life-changing. I was 100X more in love with Jesus and everyone else in my life. My cooworkers, my family, my friends. All I wanted to do was serve Him and mostly by loving others. Because of this so many people that I came into contact with got saved, even homeless people, even hardcore drug addicts not to mention my entire family.

    Everybody who like …
Everybody who like the Holy-spirit-breakout-videos should watch the videos from WorldRevivalChurch about the Kansas-City-Outpouring (started May 2008). The are even more intense. What´s going on at MorningStar is awesome but what´s going on at World Revival Church is beyond description.
