bigmusic2: I know men didn’t wear pants in the old old days. They didn’t have pants back then. They weren’t “invented” yet. And yes, Jesus saved us from the old law. When pants WERE invented they were for men, not women. Women started wearing mens clothing then “converted” mens clothing into “womens”. Why don’t men wear “men dresses”? Anyways, this is a touchy issue. I would rather have u pray about it for yourself. God bless you my friend

Have you forgotten that Jesus came and saved us from the OLD law. Men didn’t wear pants back in those days. Know what you are teaching before you start teaching. That is my church that you are talking about.

ur right to some extent. It’s not all about dress. It’s about your heart towards God and your relationship with Him. Salvation is more importent these days. But, AFTER we are saved, we must obey the Bible and live a holy and modest life before God, in worship, dress, etc. We must not only talk the talk, but we must also walk the walk.

First and foremost …
First and foremost do you know when the first pair of pants were made? I don’t think God is worried about what you wear he is more worried about your heart. That is the problem with CHURCH FOLKS today. They are quick to put someone down because of what they have on. Just because you have a skirt to the floor don’t make you save and just because one have on pants don’t make them unsave.

When in Deutoronomy …
When in Deutoronomy when they talk about women wearing things pertaining to a man, they are talking about women not wearing “armor” or fighting in wars. Women shouldnt be on the battlefeild is what they are talking about. this can be debated, but I would like to think they werent talking about pants, seeing that pants werent even invented “thought of” back in biblical days. Just a bit of information, but everyone has the right to believe ibn what they believe in.

We wear skirts …
We wear skirts because in the Bible (the book of Deautoronomy) it talks about women keeping away from mens clothing, and not wearing mens clothing. We believe that pants were, are, and alway’s will be for men, and skirts are for women. Pants, when on women, show stuff that shouldn’t be seen on a woman. Holiness will never go out of style. Although this could be debated, we hold strong to this belief. I hope that answered your question. God Bless and have a nice day! ~Andii~
