Did anybody go to church today???

February 222010

I did. I go to Valley Bible Fellowship. Whats the name of your church?
WOW!! Alot of quick responses. Keep them coming. I love it.
I guess now the question would be: Did anybody go to church on Sunday??

I went to church today… Church makes my whole day feel better. I am a saved Christian and believe in God without a shadow of a doubt… I know where I am going when I die- I hope you do to.

    As a hard-line atheist I don’t go to church.

I did, however, watch the UConn game. More proof, as far as I’m concerned.

No, not unless you count a track church. It has the same things; you’re bored, then you suffer, and sometimes you feel better afterwards, but most of the time you think it was just a waste of a few hours.

Sure, it’s like feeding your spirit. We always used to say, prayer is like brushing your teeth. You gotta do it at least twice a day. Otherwise it’s just not confortable. Going to church is like feeing your spirit. Don’t we all pig-out a little bit on the weekends? Eat our favorite dinners, or go out to dinner with our families? Going to church is like that for your spirit. You can learn and get full, you can be toghther with other people who believe the same way you do, you can support and love one another, and sing hymns, which are prayers to music.

    Yes, I went to church.

I got up and planned to go, but my grandson got really fussy, and I decided to stay home and help my daughter with him. I pray many times a day, and God and I will visit tonight when I go to bed(bedtime prayers are the best!).

The name of the Church I went to as a child (it operated a kindergarten for richer kids too) is Trinity Church.
I used to have to pray before I eat, sing kiddy hymns, and so on.
    My favourite time was nap-time.

I’ve not been going church for more than 10 years now. My faith wavered at the time, and now, well, let’s just say I feel more guided, more stable.
But I don’t know which is truly God – there’s just so many voices around me and inside my head telling me, asking me, "which is God? which is God?"
And not to mention my Islamic friends have had shared a lot of stories with me about their faith. I read up alot about Islam too.
I don’t know. I’m afraid of where to step because I know now I’m at a crossroads, God is asking me to decide.
I don’t know, and I don’t want to join a religion falsely – I just want to worship God as He is, love Him with all my heart and follow Him – I do that everyday but I just don’t know who it is because God is so abstract in my mind right now.
