The spirit of the …
The spirit of the Lord is suppose to be in all the churches and everyone responeds different to the Holy Ghost so I don’t care what church I’m in when the Holy Ghost falls on me Im gone are you with me

So true, nuns don’t …
So true, nuns don’t shout but how would many of our relationships with God hold up to theirs? We get so caught up in these outward shows of praise. This denomination dissing on YouTube has been a real eye-opener for me. I really began to wonder what was being taught about Baptists in other churches, so much false information and mean-spirited ignorance. Since when did churches become fraternities?? We are not in competition here folks, let us celebrate our differences and not build walls.

Well I wasn’t …
Well I wasn’t telling you to SHUT UP, I was just saying in general. I’m sick of seeing the same old comments on praise break videos.
Honestly, you can’t judge the “cute step” people because you don’t know their hearts. Just like my fellow Apostolic people can’t judge Baptists for not “cutting a step” because they don’t know their hearts!
These arguments are OLD and TIRED. Just because you shout, scream and dance doesn’t mean you’re saved.
PRAISE isn’t exclusive to one denomination.

You are missing my …
You are missing my point. If you were more familiar with the many negative comments re: Baptists made on YouTube, you’d have a better understanding. And furthermore, who are you telling to ‘SHUT UP’?? Way to squash a “beef”…
They cut “cute steps” in my church too, but I’m talking about the way the lady is “getting happy” in this clip which you see most often in the Baptist church. People from certain denominations like to come on here and spread ignorance. (cont’d)

(cont’d) They think …
(cont’d) They think fancy footwork is the be all end all and if you’re not doing that, your praise is somehow “less”. When we all know that there are plenty of people out there playing church and that “cute step” is less about praising God and more about impressing man. So don’t come at me with that, you are preaching to the choir, go after the ignorant posters who’ve gone so far as to call Baptists dry and rhythmless, the comments that have made comments like mine necessary. God bless.

Please I’ve been in …
Please I’ve been in Baptist churches where they had “cute steps”.
I hate how people try to compare their denominations to others. In the end WHO CARES?! We are all giving god praise. Whether they are COGIC, Apostolic, Pentecostal, Baptist, AME, United Methodist, Presbyterian; We are all serving the same God.
I’m SICK of the “beefs”. Just SHUT UP!
November 27th, 2009 at 2:34 am
In the Baptist …
In the Baptist church, we got that crazy praise, it’s wild and unpredictable and not about cutting a cute step which you’re in full control of like in other denominations.

Don’t frown upon …
Don’t frown upon what the ladies are doing for the woman getting happy in this clip. You have to realize that things changed. When I was coming up in the ’80s, people continued to “hold” shouters out of tradition, but it wasn’t about suppressing the shout, it was more of a “courtesy” (i.e., so the shouter didn’t bust his or her head open on a wall or a pew, or stamp on somebody’s feet, or didn’t throw her skirt over her head showing all her business).
